Website measurement
We count public page views by day, page, broad referral channel and mobile or desktop screen size. These totals do not identify individual visitors. We do not store IP addresses, precise locations, advertising identifiers or receipt contents in these measurements. Signed-in visits are excluded. Aggregate counts are kept for up to 90 days.
Information we collect
We collect your account and contact details, company membership, uploaded receipts, expense entries and generated reports. We also keep subscription references and limited records of account activity. Myers Engineering LLC uses this information to operate Spendan, protect accounts, manage billing and answer requests. Only upload records you have permission to use.
Who can access your reports
Employees can access their own reports. Company administrators can manage their company’s users and reports. Our business dashboard shows account metrics without receipt contents. Authorized staff may access records when needed for support, maintenance or recovery.
Service providers
OVHcloud hosts the application in US-East/Virginia. Stripe processes payment details; Spendan does not store card numbers. SMTP2GO delivers transactional messages, including password resets. Zoho hosts business inboxes. Providers receive information needed for their respective services.
Cookies and account activity
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Limited activity records include account identifiers, event types and timestamps, but not receipt text. Receipt files are kept outside public website directories. Email messages are encrypted while waiting to be sent and cleared after delivery or expiry; email providers retain their own delivery logs. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Keeping and deleting your information
Your expense records stay in private account storage until an authorized deletion or account-closure request is completed, or we notify you of a change to retention. Ending a trial or subscription does not automatically delete records. Email support@spendan.com to request access, correction, export or deletion. We verify your identity and authority to act for the company, then handle the request manually, subject to applicable legal requirements. We may retain account details and limited billing records separately for administration and required recordkeeping.
Backups
We keep restricted, encrypted backups to recover the service. These are separate from active account storage, so deleting an active record does not immediately remove every backup copy. During recovery, we review deletion requests to prevent deleted records from becoming accessible again. No fixed or automatic backup-expiry period is promised.
Contact form
When you contact us, we collect your work email, company, expected number of users and any optional contact details or message so we can reply. This does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing. Inquiries older than 90 days are removed the next time the inbox processes a submission or is opened by an operator. Restricted backups may keep older copies under the recovery policy above. Please leave receipts and other sensitive records out of your message.
